Your heart is broken and you know you need help but you are not sure what to do next. The good news is that we can help you each step of the way.
The Grief Recovery Support Group Programme is exactly what it suggests – you work on your own recovery and your own losses (as in the one to one support information), but as part of a supported group, and with people whom are doing exactly the same.
This is what you can expect…….
The support group is a safe environment that allows you to share and articulate your feelings whilst actively taking part and supporting others whilst they share their feelings. The support group / workshop is guided, supported and facilitated by your Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Janine Hailey.
The programme starts with an introduction session where I meet with you all to discuss the programme, and it is just a general “get to know each other” session.
We will then have a further 6 sessions (usually held weekly) where I will guide and support you all through the actions and tasks required to complete the programme. We will use the Grief Recovery Handbook as the reference book to support your journey to completion of the programme.
In summary, you will look at your old beliefs and behaviours, examine what losses you have experienced through your life; then learn and take the actions that will help you complete the pain attached to those losses and let it go.
