Helping Children and Young People Deal with Loss

Helping Children and Young People Deal with Loss

If you are a parent, carer, teacher or someone who works and supports children and young people you have landed at the right place.

You will know that finding the right thing to say and do can be very difficult when a child has been bereaved, or is just about to face bereavement, or when they have experienced significant emotional losses following divorce, house moves, changing school, being adopted, fostered, bullied or a myriad of other losses.

Having the correct information at your fingertips at that time can make a significant difference to their progress and wellbeing.

The “Helping Children Deal with Loss” training programme, based upon the hugely successful Grief Recovery Method®, will provide you with the tools and effective methods you need to help children deal with their own losses and changes affecting their lives.

All training is delivered by an accredited and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, and the programme can be delivered on a one to one basis or in a group.
